orchard pig sketch book development.

working with the images form my reveice sketch book work. i want to concentrate on texture and colour. i want to pigs to almost have a hand made quality about them. i want to see the pigs with paintbrush textures in them. i want to experiment with te personality of the pig and make a few diffenet looking pigs like a family of pigs... i want eatch pig to look different but all the pigs need to have some relation with in them. 

below are some inked ideas with a little more refined look to them. 

this is extreamly hard for me to draw like this. i feel theres no skill in this what so ever i feel that im being lazy and taking a back seat from hard work. BUT i am enjoying just sat back and relaxing. again the pigs are making me laugh with the expression. i feel almost guilty that all my other projects are verry full on and asking of a high standard and this one isnt.

below are some textures that i made. i scanned them in and using photoshoped i layered them behined my pig heads.

i used the texture on a hole pig. i like the out come looks crafted looks quirky and looks playfull.

iv got a water color mess i made on a piece of paper. i did it like this so i could take snippets of the area and add them to my pig.

below is a water coloured texture pig. hes in segments becuase i tend to make him move in after affect later.

RUN PIGGY PIGGY. its safe to say the animators dont have to worry about my animation skills.
i tried to make a fat little pig look comical by running extreamly fast but failed. lol
