me and my team mate took the time to update each other on our progress on our project.
when we was going back and forth with ideas and whats to do next my team mate sent me photos of the animation progress. the bar man character that i had designed for this project was differnet. instead was character developed by my partner, using a a very early rough of a pigs head i used for the development of my first pig character. this new character works for what is needed for the animation, i love the shirt that has been chosen for the pig, it almost has an easternder bar man look now...very southern, the textures have been lost in character witch i was slightly disappointed about, i felt that it gave it a hand made look. this new character has great personality that is needed for the animation...

now that the texture has gone and the pigs are now a solid colour and the character has changed completely i have to go back to the drawing board and think of other concept for the beer matts and other products i was working on. i still think the idea will work well. with out the textures this will allow me to digital colour the characters that will save me time and give me more time to thumbnail and get more ideas down. resulting in a better end result in the project.
how ever i still think that this is a strong idea. and ill make what is needed for the project and the progression of it, even if that means my work is diluted to help the project.
my partner showed me some of his animation. i was very happy with the level of his animation skills and have no doubt that ill have anything to worry about with the end result. i think the idea as a hole works very well..and i look forward to seeing the end result.
my next job is to created the back ground for the animation but feeling that it would be changed i offered him the chance to create it him self to save time and effort. he assured me that i should do it and we both agreed that he should colour it because he is has a colour theme in mind and wants to play around with that.
