this weeks topic is soar
right soar it is then. i imagine people are going to draw eagles flying through mountines and what have you. so again i aim to be as far away from the normal as posible with the images i pick NOT THE DRAWING STYLE IM NOT A CHILD ( modern scribbly crap ) i wanted to obviuosly choose something air born but nothing normal... even though its very typical im going to start my roughs and thumbnails with jets..i watched pot hun not long back. DANGER ZONE!

thumb nailing jets
because i use basic form and shape in my thumbnail work i noticed that my jets on this thumbnail looked like the red arrows leaving the decoration smoke behind them for pattern.
i feel that this is a good way to go. yes people have drawn jets i bet but i dont think many will have done red arrows
now its on screen side by side my drawing is observationally incorrect. never mind the clock is ticking on this project.
here is the final image. i digitised it in photoshop just like the rest of them making it a set. for some reason its loaded pixilated and i cant stop it from doing it ive tried everything sorry. so please find the original print in the red folder to look at. im happy with the out come cos yet again i think my digital skills have grown but the i have lacked loads on my composition skills. this isnt to do with the final out comes but this is more to do with thumb nailing and i need to be more playfull at the bigining of the task. i like thumb nailing and usuily push my thumbnail far before sticking with an idea. its obvious at the time of thumb nailing iv felt the presure of other tasks on my to do list and ust blasted them out. but never mind i completed the task as asked...just not as well as some of the others. i still feel that city is my strongest so far. im hoping to beat city with a killer illustration verry soon.
