Studio task Cowboys and Indians

• I realy wanted to push forward the line and texture with line work. I spent a little more time to develop this one, I'm happy with the out come, the use of negative space to create the creases in the shirt.
Maybe too much negative space on the faces.

• this study I aimed to create a sketch with less negative space, to develop what I had learned on the sketch above  But I feel this has a more cartoon feel to it, and I was too bold with the out line and some features.

•Like the lines in his face

What's my sketch book with out Neb!!!

• incorporated Neb (the character I created) into my cowboy theme just to keep me motivated in the cowboy theme
But I like this one due to the textures I have caught.

Using both ink and negative space!

• creases in the shirt and texture to the leather

• using dots gives a good suggestion of texture.

•i realy enjoyed this task. It gave me the time and consentration I needed to devolve and to sharpen my dip pen skills in a different way. I'm happy with the movement Iv captured and the atmosphere speahaly in the bar sketch and the Neb drawing.
