Studio brief 1 self-evaluation

How effectively do you think you have tackled the fest part of the brief? Have you been able to exhaust your ideas? How well have you used research to support the development of your ideas? As drawing allowed you to visualise your ideas and evolve then further? 

I feel I tackled the the first part of my brief Weekly, I got so engrossed with thinking and researching ideas that related to me and instead I could have used those as a starting point to push it forward to have developed better ideas.

I used a wide range of research for my development. I used the book from the librar I searched the Internet and visited the places and subjects of my ideas. I visited Museums for inspiration for new ideas 

The drawings in my sketch books has helped me visualise my ideas a lot and helped me now forward with other themes and ideas.

In light of your feed back, what theme/ideas do you intend to develop into a final deliverable poster? Please describe your intentions for the tone of voice/ functionality of its artwork.

From the feed back, I have two ideas in mind that I can visualise as been a final poster! The life of Neb...doing things that you wouldn't do in everyday life (as suggested on my feed back. And the life of castleford! The feed back for this was to keep to the truth of castleford life and it's old ways but express them with different characters for each one. 

Outline briefly how you intend to generate the final deliverable artwork. Consider media, method design and application. What are the next steps required in developments and refinement of your poster? 

I will start by researching into more depth on both themes working out whitch is the stronger idea to develop into a final piece. I will experiment with different medias,colours and techniques to find the right style to express my images.

I will then experiment and document layout to find the best way to desplay the images on to a poster.
