The finished looked of the mask.
I shall call him Neb (none emotional Bob)
Work in progress.
I attached long slim thick pieces of card running from top to bottom on the left and right hand side to give the mask more super. Whilst making the makes I felt it would look better with strong jaw features so I created and attached a jaw.

Using acrylic paint I painted the hole mask different shades of grey. Then I used the flat edge of a credit card to apply black paint to give it a scorn metal look. And used white acrylic to make some highlights. I later used a brush and flicked and sprayed the mask with black ink to give the metal a aged look.

Work in progress.
I'm using  card for the form of the mask because it seemed to be the more productive material for what I needed to create my mask.

I cut out holes for the eyes and mouth and covered them with a sheet of black paper. I then poked holes through the eye pieces (using a pin) to make it possible to see through.

After deciding whitch design to create for my final piece, I went back to the drawing board to experiment with the facial features.

Sample model no2.
Sample model no1 making sample models helped me under stand practicality of making a mask.

Experiment what would work best for the final piece and learning whitch wasn't so successful.

Make a mask of your self!

5 Designs for my mask. I drew the mask 3D to so I could get a better understand of how I would create the final mask.

My first attempts was human form and found that predictable so I stared to experiment with a more constructed and characterised featured mask.
